Rules:
· Hours can only include non-show related (non-arena work) riding .
· Regular NYSPWHC members can participate
.
· Rider must participate in one other Club
event per participation year to be eligible for the high hour award. Rockers can be accumulated regardless of other event
participation.
· Dues for program participation are due
yearly along with club membership dues.
· The gaited horse need not be registered,
but if shod, should be shod for pleasure riding.
· Hours will be counted from October
1 through Sept 30 each year.
· Hours must be received by the program
chairperson the no later then Sept 30 for award consideration
· Hours are based on your riding/ driving
time, doesn’t matter which gaited horse you are using. Only the Whip can claim hours - not the passengers.

The Trail Pleasure program started in 1996
with only 2 participants recording 376.25 hours
1997
brought 10 members into the program with 5 recording -
761 hours and so on the program grew. 1998-1999 - 1507.5
hours. 2000 - 2001 - 1349 hours & 15 participants
These hours are all added in the total hours
below.
2002 was the start of the high hour awards - the winners are identified by year below. You can also see the individual

Notes:
-Participants come and go, so if a participant drops, their hours are put into the Past Participants totals and not
brought back to their total hours when they re-join.
-A blank year indicates that person wasn't a participant |
